  Habe mir, obwohl ich die CD bereits besitze die Vinyl angeschafft. Songs wie Fragile Dreams oder das treibende Empty besitzen bei Fans Kult-Status und dürfen auf keinem Konzert fehlen. Mein persönlicher Favorit ist aber Regret. Einfach groß. Dieses Album war der Startschuss zur vielleicht besten Schaffensphase in der Karriere Anathema's/5(72).

  Habe mir, obwohl ich die CD bereits besitze die Vinyl angeschafft. Songs wie Fragile Dreams oder das treibende Empty besitzen bei Fans Kult-Status und dürfen auf keinem Konzert fehlen.   "Alternative 4" sees Vincent Cavanagh improve on his singing considerably, but one cannot escape the feeling of listening to a lost Nickelback album - the typical Anathema atmosphere of despair and depression manifests itself here as pompous hollering with annoying self-pitying lyrics, and the somewhat meandering, Pink Floyd-esque songwriting.
